my 2024 resolutions
In just a few days the gyms will be overrun with people, Stanleys will be fished out from the back of the cupboard, and trash cans will be stuffed with the leftover sugary treats from the holiday season. Resolution season is upon us.

Life update: What’s happened in 3 years
Life is funny, isn’t it? Nearly three years ago, I published an episode of the Self Care Podcast with a friend and ex-colleague, Georgia, about corporate burnout. Little did I know, that would foreshadow the future I was rapidly approaching. Not only did my then-current role take ALL my free time, my mental health, and my self-confidence, but it also took this very blog (and the podcast).

30 Life Lessons I’ve Learned at 30
While I had big plans to forget about my thirtieth birthday with a week and a half in Paris, Miss Rona had other plans. Instead of macarons and museums, I had Milk Bar cake and a movie. Three years ago, I moved to Seattle — into an apartment where I lived on my own for the first time in my 26.75 years of existence.

How To: Easily Understand Boundaries

Truth be told, I’d be willing to bet that the vast majority have had or continue to perpetuate poor boundary hygiene. (Again, myself included — there’s no judgment in this safe anonymous internet space.)

We Moved in Together
B and I were discussing upcoming adventures and plans for the rest of the year, and he says, “Speaking of adventures, what do you think about moving in with me?” Time stopped. I felt my ears radiating heat, my stomach in my throat, and my heart scratch like a record. Did he just ask me to move in with him? I was elated, nervous, nauseous, giddy, surprised, and every other emotion you can imagine all at once.
