How To: Easily Understand Boundaries
You may have heard of boundaries; and it’s likely you’ve even had trouble identifying, defining, and/or enforcing them. Truth be told, I’d be willing to bet that the vast majority have had or continue to perpetuate poor boundary hygiene. (Again, myself included — there’s no judgment in this safe anonymous internet space.)

Alcohol and Its Effects: Why I Don’t Drink
To this day, my memory still replays the brisk Thursday night in December like a viewfinder. Scene after scene, with a dull, dim light behind each picture. The bar before dinner — click — the shots — click — the steakhouse dinner — click — the bar after dinner — click…

7 Steps for Managing Anxiety Fast
Y’all, I have been IN MY FEELS this week. I’m talking Life Sucks playlist on Pandora, angsty teen mood swings, long drives to feel sorry for myself, melodramatic melancholy. Hi Ms. Quarantine, how are ya? *insert Jeffree Star wand noise* Seriously though, I’m in a full-blown f-u-n-k…

Life Update: Lockdown Edition
Hey! It’s been a while since we got to chit chat — and a long while since we had a bit of a life update — so here we are. And though I didn’t get out unscathed, I have to say that I’m grateful for what I received and experienced this year, and am fortunate enough that I’m ending this decade on an upswing!

True Life: I’m in Hiding
Do you remember New Year’s Eve? We were all bright-eyed, motivated, and ready to take on a new year (and do/be way better than we did/were last year?) I, too, had hope for 2019 — things seemed to really be clicking, and it was going. to. be. my. year. I could feel it. Spoiler alert: it’s not. At least so far...

New Year’s Resolutions: 2019
3… 2… 1… I’ve always found it easier to set goals, rather than resolutions, on New Year’s eve. Something about having a specific outcome, versus an open-ended vision, was easier to “nail down” — and also felt more structured in terms of acountability.
