7 Things I’m Buying Next:
Between RHOBH and RHONY this week, my wanderlust is out of control. Surely, you didn’t miss Dorit’s “casual” Chanel look (pictured above), right? And though the villa the Big Apple girls were staying at in Cancun was s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g, it was the shopping in Rome that really got my heart racing.
“I see it. I like. I want it. I got it.”
Unfortunately, I can’t spend five digits at Gucci or Bottega — you know, saving for a house and all — so I’m going to have to stick to some more budget-friendly shops to get my retail therapy in.
My next 7 purchases:
At Ease Jogger (Heathered Misty Pink) // Lululemon // $128
I have these in both grey and black, and I have to say they are the comfiest sweats I’ve ever worn. They’re light enough for warmer days and cozy enough to wear during those stay in bed and watch Sex and The City stormy days. And I NEED this color. 100/10 recommend.
The Everywhere Bag (Black Nylon) // Away Travel // $195
Fun fact: I can’t check a bag — I need my stuff in my hands at. all. times. Hey anxiety. Plus, it’s so much easier to hop off the plane and straight into a car. No standing around necessary. This bag holds a surprising amount of stuff in a small footprint, and slides over the handle of your rolling luggage. No more trying to balance a tote with a death grip!
Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel // Peter Thomas Roth // $39
This is one of my favorite skincare products. It smells amazing, makes my face feel super clean, and apparently has anti-aging properties. Would my fine lines be worse without it? Dunno. If I’m lucky, there’s one more application left in my current bottle, so I’m going to have to make a Sephora run before the weekend’s over. 🤷🏻♂️ Damn.
Odell Plush Octopus // Jellycat // $48.50
Ok, I know I should say this is a gift for my nephew — but let’s keep it 💯. I want it for myself. I first saw Odell at Crate & Barrel, and then again at a small shop on Bainbridge Island. When I saw that one of my favorite Seattle shops, Sip and Ship stocks the brand, I asked Diana if she could get her hands on this eight-legged plush. I can’t explain why I need it — I just do.
Medium Soft Linen Journal // Shinola // $22
Despite working in tech, I continue to use a mustard yellow Shinola bullet journal to keep track of meeting notes, tasks, and goals. There’s something about pen to paper that helps me remember things better. I want to try journaling for some new personal goals of mine and I figure this color is tranquil and calm. Both things I’m not, but aspire to be. 😅
Cable Classic Band Ring // David Yurman // $165
I loooove a nice ring — always have. I’ve had my eye on this band for a little while, and am finally ready to pull the trigger. No special reason. I really like the cable pattern — it gives me coastal/Golden Gate vibes, and reminds me of my roots in California. Now I just need to find out my ring size after packing on the COVID-15. 🐷
3188 17 Mile Drive // Pebble Beach, Ca. // $26,500,000
Last but not least, if I happen to win the lotto (which I have been playing), the final item on my list of purchases would be a simple, understated, quaint little home in Pebble Beach. What, a guy can dream! Ever since we saw this home last Christmas, I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind — I mean, really, look at it. Sighhh. Someday. Maybe?
What’s on your list?
Any multi-million dollar homes? 🤪 Let me know on IG. I love a good inspo pic of things I didn’t know I needed. 💸
